How to change your life in 15 minutes a day
Our brains like routines and habits can be extremely challenging to break if we try to force ourselves too much. The key to building good habits that last is to start small and work gradually.
Try it: It only takes five minutes. At first glance, this decision may not seem like much, but whatever we choose to do will ultimately set the tone for the rest of our day.
The most important five minutes of your life are the ones that greet you each morning.
But it all comes down to those first five minutes after you wake up. The choices you make in those five minutes can be the difference between a productive and harmonious day and a chaotic and miserable one. Like the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and any preparation you can do the night before will help motivate you the next morning. It has helped me to have more great days, more awesome days more amazing days! I hope you will give this 5 minute exercise a try and see how it can bring more amazing days into your life. It made me think. I have new expectations for my parenting. Correction — that was your alarm going off — ten minutes ago. But hold on, not so fast. You can still fix your bad habits and make dramatic changes in your life in just a few minutes per day. Right now, the most important thing you need to know about and take action on is a simple five-minute solution for success.
Simply write down the biggest things that need to get done tomorrow in order to move you ahead with your life changes. This step helps you become pro-active about success, rather than being re-active to what happens around you. The next ten minutes of your transformation are as important and are essential to making big changes in your life. Yes, I know, we struggled with the alarm today. But now you have priorities. Getting up early starts with making changes at night.
Simply cut out a bit of TV today you can watch what you missed on the weekend , and get to bed on time — or even fifteen minutes early — so that you can get up with ten minutes to spare in the morning. Every problem can be attacked better first thing in the morning when you have better mental clarity and fewer distractions. Keep your priority to-do list right beside your bed.
